Women's Events

This year the Boldmere Bullets are aiming to increase the participation of women in cycling, and so we are organising some specific events to target this.

Our overall aim is to encourage women to get out on their bikes and enjoy riding them whatever their ability level or experience, and help them to gain enough confidence to join in with any mixed rides too.

Cycle Maintenance Evening

On the evening of Thursday 8th March (International Women's Day), we are organising a special session, kindly hosted by Evans Cycles Sutton Coldfield. The team at Evans are planning to deliver a bike familiarisation and basic mechanical session. We also will be inviting a few women speakers who are prominent in the world of cycling for a variety of reason (eg. competitively, recreationally or working in the industry) to hopefully come and talk to us.
